How to solve the blockage of the screen basket of the pressure screen
The purpose of screening is to separate contaminants such as shives in mechanical pulp,and stickies,plastics ,sand ,metal pieces,and flakes in recycled fiber. This method employs a screening device and the separation is based on size difference between fibers and contaminants. However,depending on their flexibility and /or geometry,not all of the contaminants that are larger in size than fiber can be captured by the screen.
Screening plates of various slit widths such as 0.10mm,0.15mm, 0.20mm,and 0.25mm have been used in separating contaminants.
Blockage of the screen basket of the pressure screen is a problem that the pressure screen often encounters when working, so our operators are required to respond in a timely manner. How can we judge whether the screen basket of the pressure screen is blocked?
The blocking of the screen basket of the pressure screen is manifested by the increase of the current of the driving motor and the pressure drop of the pressure of the slurry pipe. At this time, close the valve of the good slurry pipe and open the valve of the slag discharge pipe. When the pressure of the good slurry pipe rises to close to the slurry inlet pressure, it means that the blockage has been cleared. Slowly open the slurry pipe valve and close the slag discharge valve to the original position.
